The property owner or consumer shall be responsible for all costs of materials and work necessary to install a water service line and appurtenances in accordance with the Montgomery County Uniform Building Code, as adopted in Chapter 1420 of Part Fourteen - the Building and Housing Code, which shall begin at the corporation stop, and continue to or onto the property served or point of use, including a stop to be located on the water main side of the water meter in an approved stop or meter box at the point of entry onto the premises to be served, an approved meter set and an approved meter box if the meter is installed outside a building and further shall provide an approved tapping saddle if required.
The property owner or consumer shall expose the water main at the point to be tapped.
