The Economic Development Commission is established to aid in the economic growth and stability of the City. The purpose of the Commission is to encourage the retention and expansion of existing businesses and industries in the City; to attract new development to the City consistent with the City's overall development plan; to monitor the economic progress of the City; and to coordinate the City's economic development program with the community.
