The Division of Engineering shall be under the direction of the Director of Service. The Division shall have the following functions:
(a) Perform or direct engineering services for City capital improvement projects;
(b) Perform or direct traffic engineering services for the City;
(c) Provide engineering services to other departments, divisions or sections, as required or requested;
(d) Administer and enforce the Subdivision Regulations and the Official Thoroughfare Plan;
(e) Administer and enforce regulations relative to drainage and erosion and sedimentation control;
(f) Administer and enforce regulations relative to construction, use and improvement of public works;
(g) Coordinate with all other departments, divisions and sections as appropriate to ensure orderly planning and construction;
(h) Administer and inspect the installation of street lighting;
(i) Administer and enforce the regulations relative to sidewalk and curb maintenance;
(j) Perform other duties required by the City Manager; and
(k) Submit reports to the City Manager, as required or requested.
