The design manual is hereby amended as follows:
#E.3.b (pg. 24) - add split-faced concrete block or honed faced block as an acceptable primary building material in the NC overlay.
#E.3.c (pg. 24) - add smooth-faced concrete block as a prohibited primary building material in the NC overlay.
#G.1.b3 (pg. 26) - allow a 2-foot overhang for eaves.
#D.3 (pg. 38) - add the phrase, "...if historical relevance and use is demonstrated" to the end of this section to make it clear the applicant will still need to show some proof for the use of alternative fonts.
#E.3 (pg. 38) - add the phrase, "This does not prohibit the use of vinyl applique as part of a sign" to the end of this section.
#G.1 (pg. 39) - Retain the 25% window coverage amount if the sign is board-mounted or has a solid background. However, if the window sign is applique letters or similar type material mounted directly to the window and maintains some see-through visibility, the total coverage is allowed to be 50% of the window size. If a combination of sign types is used, the maximum coverage allowed is 50% of the window size.
