§ 90.07 KEEPING CERTAIN ANIMALS.
   (A)   It shall henceforth be unlawful for any person to keep within the city limits any of the following animals unless such person provides a minimum of five contiguous acres, surrounded by a fence adequate to contain such animals: cows, pigs, horses, sheep, goats, rabbits, peacocks, ducks, or other poultry, except as provided in division (B) below and in § 90.09.
   (B)   However, it shall not be unlawful for any person keeping any animals described in division (A) above prior to October 2, 1984 to continue to keep an equal or lesser number of such animals at their present location within the city; provided that any person wishing to continue to keep such animals being kept prior to October 2, 1984 shall as a prerequisite to the exemption provided by this division (B):
      (1)   Within 60 days of October 2, 1984 have given written notice to the City Clerk/Treasurer of the numbers and species of animals being kept by them at the time of passage of this section;
      (2)   Allow periodic inspections of such animals by a designated representative of the City Council; and
      (3)   Not increase the number or species of animals being kept at the time of passage of this section.
