The city planning commission shall prepare and adopt a master plan setting forth a comprehensive, long term general plan for the physical development of the city pursuant to the master plan provisions set forth in chapter 278 of the Nevada Revised Statutes, and shall perform such other duties, functions and powers as provided by state law and this code.
