13-1-1-1: STATUTORY AUTHORIZATION:
The legislature of the state of Nevada has in Nevada Revised Statutes 278.020, 244A.057, and 543.020 conferred upon local government units authority to adopt regulations designed to promote the public health, safety, and general welfare of its citizenry. Therefore, the city of Ely, within White Pine County, state of Nevada does hereby adopt the following floodplain management regulations. (Ord. 624, 2-14-2008)
