10-1-3-3: DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION OF NEW CONNECTIONS; INFLOW SOURCES:
No new connection shall be made to the city sewer system unless the same is properly designed and constructed complying with the building code. All "inflow sources" as defined in EPA regulations, section 40 CFR part 35, including, but not limited to, roof leaders, cellar, yard and area drains, foundation drains, cooling water discharge, drains from springs and swampy areas, manhole covers, cross-connections from storm sewers and combined sewers, catch basins, storm waters, surface runoff, street wash waters or drainage shall not be permitted to be connected to the sewer system.
