Each license granted under this chapter is subject to the city's right, which is expressly reserved, to fix a fair and reasonable compensation to be paid for the property rights granted to the licensee; provided, nothing in this chapter shall prohibit the city and a licensee from agreeing to the compensation to be paid. Said compensation shall be set by the city and shall be substantially the same for any licensee providing similar services. (Ord. 549, 10-12-2000)
