8-1-9: AWNINGS:

It shall be unlawful for any person to construct or maintain any awning, or cloth or canvass used as an awning, over any of the sidewalks within the city, unless such awnings be seven feet (7') or more above the grade of the sidewalk. (Prior Code § 18-17)
