1-6-5-5: DECISION OF THE HEARING OFFICER:
   A.   After the hearing and consideration of the evidence, the Hearing Officer shall render a written decision within ten (10) working days of completion of the hearing, setting forth the reasons for the decision.
   B.   If the Hearing Officer determines the action taken was a reprisal or retaliatory action, he or she may issue an order directing the person alleged to have taken reprisal or retaliatory action (respondent) to desist and refrain from engaging in such action.
   C.   The decision of the Hearing Officer is final and a copy of it shall be filed with the City Administrator, City Clerk, or City Clerk/Treasurer, as appropriate, within ten (10) working days of completion of the hearing, and a copy provided to the City Council.
   D.   In addition, a copy of the Hearing Officer's decision shall be transmitted by personal service or by registered mail to all of the parties of record in the proceeding. (Ord. 705, 7-13-2017)
