175.01 SHORT TITLE.

This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the “Airport Zoning Regulations.”

175.02 PURPOSE.

These regulations are adopted by the City Council of the City of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and the City Council of the City of Ely, Iowa, for the purpose of exercising to the fullest extent possible the power granted by Chapter 329 of the Code of Iowa pertaining to the restriction of airport hazards in the vicinity of airports and creating airport hazard zones.
