Any person violating any of the provisions of this business title shall be guilty of a Class B misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine in a sum not to exceed $1,000 or by imprisonment for not more than six months or by both such fine and imprisonment. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during on or which a violation occurs or continues. Any business renewing a business license after December 31 shall be assessed a late fee, which shall be set through policy and may be amended from time to time by the City Council.
