(A) (1) Any person who violates any provision of this code for which another penalty is not specifically provided shall, upon conviction, be subject to the fines, imprisonment, or other penalties that apply to a conviction of a Class B misdemeanor pursuant to UCA § 76-3-301(1)(d) or, if the violation would constitute a Class C misdemeanor, then the lesser Class C fines pursuant to UCA § 76-3-301(1)(e), imprisonment, or other penalties. If the violation would constitute an infraction, then the person shall be subject to the lesser fines, or other penalties, for such an infraction pursuant to UCA § 76-3-205.
(2) Any firm or corporation who violates any provision of this code for which another penalty is not specifically provided shall, upon conviction, be subject to the fines, imprisonment, or other penalties which apply to a conviction of a Class B misdemeanor pursuant to UCA § 76-3-302(3) or, if the violation would constitute a Class C misdemeanor, then the lesser Class C fines pursuant to UCA § 76-3-302(4) or other penalties. If the violation would constitute an infraction, then the firm or corporation shall be subject to the fines, or other penalties, for such an infraction pursuant to UCA § 76-3-302(4).
(B) A separate violation shall be deemed committed upon each day during which a violation occurs or continues.
(C) If a penalty for a violation of an ordinance includes any possibility of imprisonment, the county shall, under UCA § 78B-22-301, provide for indigent defense services, as that term is defined in UCA § 78B-22-102.
