§ 32.38 HOUSING AGENCY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS.
    The municipal governing body shall by majority vote, appoint five persons to the Housing Agency Board who shall all be residents of Gosper County, and at least three of whom shall be residents of the village, and such persons shall be called the Board of Commissioners. The municipal governing body may appoint one of its members to serve as one of the five members of said Housing Agency Board of Commissioners for such term as the municipal governing body may determine. The initial Board of Commissioners shall be designated to serve for terms of one, two, three, four and five years respectively from the date of their appointment, but thereafter, Commissioners shall be appointed for a term of office of five years; except that, all vacancies shall be filled for the unexpired terms. Midterm appointees shall automatically assume all subcommittee assignments and responsibilities as held by the parting Commissioner. Each officer shall serve a term in office of one year, but may be reappointed for an additional term each year. No Commissioner of the Housing Agency shall receive any pay or compensation for any services rendered. The Commissioners shall elect a Chairperson and a Vice-Chairperson from among the Commissioners and shall have the power to employ an Executive Director who shall serve as ex-officio Secretary of the Agency and it may call upon the chief law officer of the municipality for such legal services as it may require.
