It shall be unlawful for any person to ignite or cause to be exploded fireworks or firecrackers of any description whatsoever within the municipality; except for those approved by the state’s Fire Marshal for sale in retail fireworks stands. Fireworks and firecrackers may only be discharged during the period of time beginning June 24 of each year and ending on July 4 or the date that the display fireworks are ignited in the village (if there is a display in the village that year), whichever is later.
