§ 153.22 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   AUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION, CHIEF OF THE FIRE PREVENTION BUREAU, FIRE OFFICIAL or FIRE PREVENTION BUREAU. The Fire Chief.
   BUILDING CODE, THIS CODE, THE ORDINANCE or CODE. This Fire Protection District Fire Prevention Ordinance in its entirety, including the codes adopted by reference herein.
   CORPORATE COUNSEL. The attorney for the Elwood Township Fire Protection District, Will County, Illinois.
   DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING INSPECTION. The Fire Prevention Bureau of the Elwood Township Fire Protection District.
   MUNICIPALITY. The Elwood Township Fire Protection District, Will County, Illinois, and whenever the term, BOARD OF TRUSTEES is used herein, it shall be deemed to mean the Board of Trustees of the District.
