§ 96.01 ADOPTION OF NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED CODES.
   (A)   Pursuant to the authority granted in Public Act 80-453 as amended by Public Act 81-1374, ILCS Ch. 70, as amended, and the provisions of ILCS Ch. 50, Act 220, there is hereby adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Elwood Fire Protection District, Will County, Illinois, for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, and for the prevention and control of fire, those certain codes known as the Boca National Fire Prevention Code, the Boca National Property Maintenance Code and the Following National Fire Codes and published by the National Fire Protection Association and listed by code numbers as follows: 1, 10, 11, 11A, 12, 12A, 13, 13D, 13R, 14, 15, 16, 16A, 17, 17A, 20, 22, 24, 25, 30, 30A, 30B, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40E, 43B, 43D, 45, 46, 49, 50, 50B, 51, 51A, 518, 52 53, 54, 55, 57, 58, 59, 59A, 61, 65, 68, 69, 70, 70B, 70E, 72, 75, 77, 79, 80, 80A, 82, 86, 86C, 86D, 88A, 88B, 90A, 90B, 91, 92A, 92B, 96, 97, 99, 101, 101A, 102, 105, 110, 111, 120, 122, 130, 150, 170, 203, 204M, 211, 214, 221, 231, 231C, 231D, 231E, 232, 232A 241, 251, 252, 268, 299, 302, 318, 325, 328, 329, 385, 386, 395, 418, 430, 480, 481, 482, 485, 490, 491M, 495, 496, 497A, 497B, 4.97M, 498, 501A, 501C, 501D, 502, 505, 513, 560, 600, 601, 650, 651, 654, 655, 664, 704, 750, 780, 801, 820, 850, 910, 911, 912, 914, 1123, 1126 1141, 1420, 1963, 2001, 8501, 8503, 8504, 8505, 8506.
   (B)   If any of the above code numbers change or are combined, the successor numbers shall be considered the same as the original number.
   (C)   If any of the adopted National Fire Codes do not contain industrial or commercial matter then Factory Mutual Data Sheets will be used for reference by the Fire Protection Bureau.
   (D)   The Fire Protection Bureau of the Elwood Fire Protection District shall consider changes made by the National Model Fire Codes incorporated into this section without further action.
   (E)   The provisions of the aforesaid codes are incorporated herein by reference and are further clarified in this section. The clarified provisions, together with the aforesaid codes and other provisions specifically adopted herein shall be collectively known as the Elwood Fire Protection District Fire Prevention Ordinance. Three copies of the aforesaid codes have been on file for at least 15 days prior to the adoption hereof and are now on file in the office of the Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Elwood Fire Protection District, and have been there kept available for public use, inspection and examination, and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein. From the date on which this chapter shall take effect, the provisions of the aforesaid Codes as clarified by this chapter shall be controlling within the corporate limits of the Elwood Fire Protection District, Will County, Illinois.
