The owner of real estate within the village shall maintain all weeds, grass, trees, and/or bushes on his or her property at all such times as may be necessary so that the weeds, grass, trees and/or bushes do not constitute nuisance greenery as defined in § 95.01. If the owner refuses or neglects to prevent the growth of nuisance greenery on his or her property, the village may cause to be cut by any other person, or may itself cut the nuisance greenery.
