All rentals must abide by the village general use policies.
(A) Groups are responsible for placing all trash in the garbage cans provided or properly removing it from the site. The park should be left in equal or better condition than it was found. If not, the village reserves the right to retain all or a portion of the damage deposit, or directly bill the renter for the costs incurred by the village.
(B) All individuals, organizations or groups reserving a park must have an authorized representative, 21 years or older, sign the waiver and release form, which includes a hold-harmless clause and an agreement to be responsible for those attending the event, cleanup and possible damages. The representative must also remain on-site during the time of the rental.
(C) No vendors are allowed in village parks except when they are sponsored by an event that has been issued a permit by the village.
(D) Motor vehicles are permitted only on designated roads and parking areas of each park. Vehicles are not permitted on grass areas.
(E) Fires are permitted only in proper fireplaces or receptacles. Individuals may bring freestanding grills and must extinguish all fires before leaving. Hot ashes or coals must not be deposited on the ground.
(F) Activities, including sound amplification, should not unreasonably interfere in any way with other park users or adjacent property owners. Amplification and special lighting are allowed only if a permit is issued at the time of the original request.
(G) When portable restrooms are needed, the user must make arrangements to obtain and remove them from the park no later than 3:00 p.m. the day after the event.
(H) Unauthorized use of pyrotechnics/fireworks are not allowed on park property.
