§ 71.008 UNLAWFUL USE OR DAMAGE TO HIGHWAYS, STRUCTURES.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully injure or damage any public highway or any bridge, culvert, sign, sign post or structure upon or used or constructed in connection with any public highway for the protection thereof or for protection or regulation of traffic thereon by any willfully unreasonable use thereof, or by willfully careless driving or use of any vehicle thereon, or by willful mutilation, defacing or destruction thereof. A person convicted of violating this section shall be fined not less than $25 nor more than $500.
