(A) No person shall place, maintain or display upon or in view of any highway any unauthorized sign, signal, marking, or device which purports to be or is an imitation of or resembles an official traffic control device or railroad sign or signal, or which attempts to direct the movement of traffic, nor shall any person place, maintain or display upon a highway or upon public or private property in view of any highway any other sign, tree, bush or foliage which hides from view or interferes with the movement of traffic or the effectiveness of any traffic control device or any railroad sign or signal.
(B) No person may place or maintain nor may any public authority permit upon or in view of any highway any traffic sign or signal bearing thereon any commercial advertising.
(C) No person shall maintain or operate in view of any street or highway any flashing or rotating beacon or light.
(D) Every such prohibited sign, signal, marking, tree, bush, or foliage is a public nuisance and may be removed by any policeman or under his direction and supervision without notice.
