§ 71.002 DISOBEDIENCE TO TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES.
   (A)   No driver of a vehicle shall disobey the instructions of any official traffic control device placed in accordance with provisions of this subchhapter, unless at the time otherwise directed by a police officer.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to leave the roadway and travel across private property to avoid an official traffic control device.
