§ 70.034 OFFENSES BY PERSONS OWNING OR CONTROLLING VEHICLES.
   (A)   It is unlawful for the owner, or any other person, employing or ot7herwise directing the driver of any vehicle to require or knowingly permit the operation of such vehicle upon the highway in any manner contrary to law.
   (B)   A person convicted of violating this section shall be fined not less than $10 nor more than $500.
