(A) Pursuant to ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 20-204, the village hereby adopts in its entirety the ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, §§ 1-100 et seq. as amended (hereinafter “Illinois Vehicle Code”) and the same is hereby adopted as ordinance provisions of the village. Any violation of said provisions of the Illinois Vehicle Code shall be hereinafter a violation of this chapter, and each such violation shall subject the violator, upon conviction, to the same penalty as set forth in the Illinois Vehicle Code of Ordinances.
(B) All citations issued for violations of the Illinois Vehicle Code by the village shall be in the name of the village, shall refer to the numbered sections in the Illinois Vehicle Code, and shall be referred to as an ordinance violation in the traffic ticket or complaint.
