§ 36.06 DESIGNATION OF COMPENSATION AND RANKS.
   (A)   The compensation to be paid to the members and employees of the Department shall be determined and fixed by the corporate authorities in the annual appropriation ordinance, or by ordinance or resolution, from time to time.
   (B)   Ranks shall be determined by Chief of Police, from time to time.
