ORDINANCE NO. 1797-2020

AN ORDINANCE ENACTING AND ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF ELSMERE, KENTUCKY.

   WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio has completed the S-25 supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Elsmere, Kentucky, which supplement contains all ordinances of a general nature enacted since the prior supplement to the Elsmere Code of Ordinances; and

   WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make references to sections of the Kentucky Revised Statutes; and

   WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Elsmere City Council to accept these updated sections in accordance with the changes of the law applicable to the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the City's Code of Ordinances.

   NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELSMERE, KENTON COUNTY, KENTUCKY AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I

   That the S-25 supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Elsmere, Kentucky, as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, and as attached hereto as Exhibit A and is incorporated by reference, is adopted in its entirety.

SECTION II

   That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its date of passage, approval and publication as required by law.
