§ 35.06 PROHIBITION OF POLITICAL ACTIVITY.

No person shall be appointed to any position because of political partisan service rendered by him or her or his or her family, or because of political sentiment or affiliation, nor shall any person be dismissed or reduced in pay because of any political opinion.
