Nonprofit organizations may file, in lieu of any applicable application, permit, and/or percentage of gate fee, a request for fee waiver. The request must be accompanied by an internal revenue service letter of determination of nonprofit status, nonprofit articles of incorporation or other documentation, which will establish, to the approval of the special events coordinator or committee that the organization is a nonprofit organization. The request for fee waiver will be determined by the coordinator or committee in the same manner as a request for allocation of city resources.
