A. Hours of collection of solid waste or recyclables by private and municipal collectors shall be regulated by the city manager, or the manager's designee. In order to prohibit the disturbance of the public peace and welfare, it shall be unlawful to collect or remove solid waste or recyclables between the hours of ten o'clock (10:00) P.M. and six o'clock (6:00) A.M. if the collection point or container location is within two hundred feet (200') of any residential dwelling unit unless reasonable accommodations are approved by the city manager, or the manager's designee.
B. For purposes of this section, "private" means any entity other than the city, whether commercial, nonprofit or otherwise, collecting solid waste or recyclables.
C. All solid waste shall be collected as deemed necessary by the city manager, or the manager's designee, and at periods designated by the city manager, or the manager's designee. (Ord. 15-848, 11-23-2015)
