For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS. The Town Council, Clerk-Treasurer and/or Police Department.
GRASS. Vegetation consisting of typically short plants with long narrow leaves cultivated on lawns and pastures.
OWNER. The owner of record, as found on the warranty deed, as found in the records of the Recorder of the county.
RANK VEGETATION. The uncontrolled growth of any grass, weed or other plant beyond nine inches in height, excluding trees, flowers, ornamental shrubs and plants (landscaping), and agricultural crops.
WEED. Any uncultivated plants occurring naturally that have a tendency to dominate or drive out grasses or other cultivated plants.
