(A) Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be subject to a civil penalty in a sum of not more that $500. In addition to the civil penalty, any person found in violation of §§ 91.15 through 91.20 concerning vicious dogs, shall surrender the vicious dog to an appropriate town official or his or her designee, to be disposed of as the town official or his or her designee sees fit.
(B) Recovery of costs associated with fines for this chapter shall be turned into the courts for collection in small claims courts and not certified to the County Auditor for collection as delinquent taxes if not paid within 30 days.
