The following are not liable for loss or damage to a vehicle or parts occurring during the removal or storage or disposition of a vehicle or parts under this chapter:
(A) A person who owns, leases or occupies property from which an abandoned vehicle or its contents or parts are removed;
(B) The town;
(C) A towing service;
(D) An automobile scrapyard;
(E) A storage yard; and/or
(F) An agent of a person or entity listed in divisions (A) through (E) above.
