§ 40.02  POSSESSION OF TOWN HALL KEYS.
   (A)   Each elected official shall have furnished to him or her a key to the main entrances to the Town Hall.  Each elected official shall also be furnished a key giving him or her access to the Council chambers, from within the Town Hall.  The Clerk-Treasurer of the village shall be furnished any additional keys necessary for the performance of his or her duties.  At the discretion of the Mayor, keys may be issued to other village employees who require them in the execution of their duties.
   (B)   The Chief of the Police Department shall have furnished to him or her, and be responsible for, all keys having access to the Town Hall building.
   (C)   The Mayor, as chief enforcement officer, shall have access keys to the Town Hall building and to all offices within the Town Hall, including the Police and Fire Department.
