(A) Fire and Life Squad equipment and facilities shall be used for official purposes only. Any use of village equipment and/or facilities for any purpose other than official business must be sanctioned by the Fire Chief and authorized by the Mayor.

(B) The Council may purchase the necessary fire engines and all such other equipment as is necessary for the extinguishment of fires and the saving of lives, and may establish lines of fire alarm telegraph within the limits of the village.

(C) The Council may provide or erect necessary and suitable buildings containing rooms for fire engines and other equipment and provide for the meetings of the fire and hose companies.
