§ 34.03  OFFICERS.
   (A)   The Department shall consist of one Fire Chief appointed by the Mayor in accordance with R.C. § 737.22.  In addition the Department may have one Assistant Fire Chief, four lieutenants, and two captains as need demands.

   (B)   The Assistant Chief shall, in the absence or disability of the Chief, perform all the functions and exercise all of the authority of the Chief.
