§ 33.10  SECRETARY TO THE CHIEF OF POLICE.
   (A)   The position of Secretary to the Chief of Police is hereby created, such position to be for part- time employment.
   (B)   The duties of the position shall be as the Chief of Police may assign from time to time.
   (C)   The Secretary to the Chief of Police shall be employed on a part-time basis for a total of 25 hours per week between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday of each week; the Secretary to the Chief of Police shall record the dates and times of employment on forms to be provided by the Clerk of the village, which record shall be certified and approved by the Chief of Police; and the Secretary to the Chief of Police shall be compensated at a rate established by ordinance.

   (D)   The Chief of Police may appoint an employee to the position, with the consent of the Village Council, and the employee shall continue in service at the continuing pleasure of the Chief of Police and the Village Council.
