For the purpose of this subchapter the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings ascribed to them respectively.
DISTRIBUTOR. Any person, firm, or corporation which sells, leases, rents, or otherwise distributes pinball machines within the village.
EXHIBITOR. A person, firm, or corporation owning or conducting a place of business in the village, and operating or exhibiting one or more pinball machines at this place of business.
PINBALL MACHINES. Pinball machines, electronic machines, marble machines, and any similar amusement devices, operated by the insertion of a coin, disc, or other insertion piece and which register or may register a score after the insertion of
the coin, disc, or other insertion piece. It shall not include coin-operated vending machines, music machines, motion picture machines, or other machines or devices used solely for the vending of service, food, or merchandise.
