(A) A Board to be known as the Volunteer Firefighter’s Dependents Fund Board is created and shall be chosen as follows:
(1) Two members shall be elected by Council;
(2) Two members shall be elected by the Fire Department; and
(3) One member shall be elected by the Board members, who must be an elector of the village, but not a public employee, nor may he or she be a member of Council or of the Fire Department.
(B) They shall administer the Fund for the benefit of the dependent claimants.
(C) Any vacancy on the Board shall be filled at a special election called by the Secretary of the Board.
