The Fire Chief or any deputy designated by him or her is authorized and empowered at any and all reasonable times and, upon complaint or information, shall be required to enter and inspect any premises, buildings, or structure within the municipality with regard to the presence, arrangement, or deposit of materials or matter which may constitute a fire hazard or create danger in case of fire. He or she is further authorized, empowered and required to inspect the conditions, size, arrangement, and efficiency of all appliances on or in the premises, for protection against fire.
