(A) Position established. There is hereby created the position of Animal Control Officer within the village, who shall have authority to enforce all provisions of this chapter and shall be an officer of the village for such purposes.
(B) Appointment. The Mayor shall have the power to appoint an Animal Control Officer with the consent of the Village Council, and the Animal Control Officer shall serve at the continuing pleasure of the Village Council.
(C) Compensation. The Animal Control Officer shall be compensated a sum as established by ordinance, and shall furnish all necessary equipment and supplies without reimbursement by the village.
