§ 70.14  DISCHARGE OF AUTOMOTIVE FLUIDS ON STREETS PROHIBITED.
   (A)   For purposes of this section, AUTOMOTIVE FLUIDS are defined as fluids required for the operation of motorized vehicles, including the fuel, coolant, lubricants, and hydraulic fluids used in the braking systems, steering systems, and transmission and differential gearboxes and clutches.
   (B)   No person shall knowingly operate or park a motor vehicle within the village while the vehicle is leaking automotive fluids.
   (C)   All persons who discover that a motor vehicle operated by them is leaking automotive fluids shall promptly and without unnecessary delay take appropriate measures to correct the mechanical condition causing the leak, and to mitigate the effects of the leakage on the environment.
   (D)   Whoever violates the provisions of this section shall be guilty of discharging automotive fluids into the environment, the penalty for which shall be a minor misdemeanor as provided in § 70.99(B).
