The Director of Buildings and other officers of the municipality may abate or remove or prevent the continuance or occupancy of any such building, structure, or part thereof in the manner provided in the case of buildings erected without a building permit. The Village Solicitor is authorized to bring appropriate proceedings to enjoin the erection of any such building, structure, or part.
