It is the property owner’s responsibility to contact a contractor to make such repairs. The property owner is responsible for payment to the contractor for services. The Village has no obligation to pay for repairs. The property owner will have thirty days to notify the Commission in writing of their plans for repair and no more than three months from the date of notice to complete repairs, unless an extension is granted by the Sidewalk Commission. The property owner or contractor shall dispose of material that is removed. After such repairs are made, the property owner shall contact the Sidewalk Commission to have the repairs checked and approved. The Sidewalk Commission will then decide if repairs are acceptable or require modification to meet the standards set forth herein or later adopted. (Ord. 07-02. Passed 3-11-02.)
