1331.02 INSPECTIONS; NOTICE TO ABATE VIOLATIONS.
   (a)   Whenever complaint is made to the Zoning Inspector of a violation of Section 1331.01 or whenever he has reason to believe that such a violation exists, he shall promptly inspect or cause to be inspected the premises on which it is alleged or he has reason to believe such violation exists. Should the Zoning Inspector, after such inspection find that a violation exists, he shall promptly notify the Director of Environmental Health of the Ottawa County Board of Health, and if it is a fire related matter, the Harris Township Fire Department, and the person, firm or corporation which, from the property records of Ottawa County, appears to be the owner of such premises, and shall request in the case of fire related matters, the Fire Chief and the Director of Environmental Health of the Ottawa County Board of Health to make an inspection thereof. If it is not a fire related matter the Zoning Inspector shall notify only the Director of Environmental Health of the Ottawa County Board of Health. The Zoning Inspector shall also leave a copy of such notice with the person in possession or in charge of the premises. If there is no such person or if such person cannot be found, he shall post a copy of such notice on the premises.
   (b)   The notice shall refer to the provisions of this chapter and shall state that unless such violation is abated, proceedings will be taken in accordance herewith.
   (c)   Upon receipt of such notice concerning fire related matters the Fire Chief shall be requested to inspect the premises and make a written report of his findings, which, together with the report of the Zoning Inspector shall be filed with the Village Superintendent.
