§ 92.30 PASSIVE PARK RECREATION AREA.
   (A)   Definition. For the purpose of this section, a PASSIVE PARK is an outdoor city-owned recreational facility intended for passive recreational activities, such as walking, hiking, jogging, and roller-skating. A PASSIVE PARK does not include organized or competitive activities and no permits for non-city related activities will be considered. Generally, a PASSIVE PARK is maintained in its existing state, with exception of public improvements made by the city or other government agency for the purpose of protecting the public's health, safety, and welfare.
   (B)   A passive park will be so designated by the City Council and park rules and regulations will be in keeping with this chapter of the City Code.
