By action of the Council, an emergency operations plan is adopted annually, in part to identify the organization for civil preparedness for natural or human-made disasters. This plan is published in joint with the city and Maricopa County Emergency Management, and is in support of the Maricopa County Emergency Operations Plan. It is in accordance with A.R.S. §§ 26-301 et seq. and the Maricopa County Civil Defense Resolution dated July 12, 1971. Three copies of the adopted plan shall be kept at the City Clerk’s office.
