(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99.
(B) It shall be a civil infraction punishable by a fine of up to $1,000 for each day a violation of any provision of §§ 50.120 through 50.136 continues. If the violation consists of a failure to obtain a permit for installation or inspection of a backflow device, the fine shall be a minimum of $250 for the first violation, $500 for a second violation, and$1,000 for a third violation. If the violation consists of a failure to timely report the results of testing or retesting of a backflow device, the fine shall be minimum of $450 per day for each working day a violation continues.

(C) Theft of water fines will be on a case by case basis from $0 to $500 per day per occurrence. The fines will be assessed and billed by the Water Department.
