Any person who desires to discontinue the use of water or other utilities provided by the city shall file written notice with the city at least three working days in advance of intended termination of service. Responsibility for water consumed is determined by final meter reading on the requested date of service disconnection. Until a written request to discontinue service is received, the premises shall be deemed occupied by the consumer and customer's liability for service charges continued.
