The Fire Department shall, by contract, participate in the valley-wide Fire Department automatic aid computer aided dispatch system. This system provides automatic assistance to and from valley fire departments by way of a central dispatch center providing a full range of responses regardless of jurisdictional boundaries. This system may also include joint training; purchasing; and other efforts as may be deemed necessary. This automatic aid system may include a minimum standard for operational and command procedures, staffing, apparatus, tools and equipment, communications equipment, training, and safety to ensure consistency in the system.
